As an International Account Manager you will be...

Responsible to identify, develop and close new business opportunities at
both national and European Accounts, OES/OEM’s and related TIER1’s
within the Automotive Segment. In this role you need to find a good balance between strategic customer approach and short-term goals. You should develop a good relationship within all hierarchy levels at direct customers, converters and within NAVCO International.

In this new position your daily activities will be to:

  • Drive profitable growth and share expansion within the assigned (customer) portfolio/territory;
  • Represent all aspects of the company’s business including all contractual and commercial arrangements for the assigned and for the new business partners;
  • Responsible to bring “Voice of Customer” to NAVCO's Project Team to better identify new opportunities;
  • Provide input for production planning;
  • Work across borders: customers are located throughout Europe;
  • Work in close contact with support functions (sales, finance, logistics, (project) management) to optimize service to the customer and profitability of the company.

As an International Account Manager you have...

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Automotive in a similar role;
  • A proven track record in developing new business;
  • Technical affinity with electronic products and technologies;
  • Ability to lead, direct, guide, plan & develop new projects;
  • Fluency in Dutch & English, additional languages (e.g. German & French) are a definitive plus;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Achieving objectives and seeking opportunities are part of your personality;
  • Strong client focus and able to capture clients’ needs from a business point of view;
  • Team player who possesses a strong desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, goal oriented organization;
  • Ability to understand and manage complex business situations;
  • Stable performance under pressure, time management and prioritization;
  • Able to work independently and highly disciplined;
  • Strong analytical skills.
